Understanding a little bit more about empty lots and the percolation test (North Carolina) : RealEstate

My wife and I are looking to move and are wanting to build a 2500-2800sq ft 4bd home for our growing family. I found a good neighborhood with two adjacent lots which both perc for 3 bd home. However my wife and I are considering buying both. If we happened to buy both lots, would the perc test potentially read for a bigger house since there is a bigger lot to disperse the drainage? Or would the expanded lot still only perc for a 3bd due to the absorption?
