Live in a high tax area where our home purchase will weight heavy on the assessed value and taxes of the home. We are nearing the town’s 10-year re-assessment so I am sure those numbers will eventually equal out if a house is purchased soon with low taxes.
However, for sake of browsing, I have been religiously sticking to Redfin and Realtor even though I dislike their navigation and search experience because their monthly payment calculator based on my metrics has been the most correct when it comes to taxes and often lines up well with my lenders estimates and towns tax records.
I love the experience of Trulia or Movoto but cannot get over the fact that their tax numbers are completely erroneous. ie showing taxes for 2019 at $2k vs the actual $9K figure. Homesnap has been hit or miss in that regard. Zillow is also all over the place. Am I missing any websites or apps that I can check to make the experience more palatable?
