American Express premium cardholders are in for a treat today, as American Express and MAG USA have just announced the opening of two new lounges in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). The all-new Centurion Lounge and Escape Lounge will provide a private getaway for cardholders of The Platinum Card® from American Express and Centurion® Card from American Express who are transiting PHX. Terms apply.
Both lounges are located in Terminal 4 and are accessible by a common entrance with separate reception desks. Premium cardholders can stretch out and enjoy a combined 9,500+ square feet of space with a nod to local cuisine, creative cocktails and plenty of seating areas for work and relaxation.
Chef Doug Robson, of the Phoenix-based Mexican eateries Gallo Blanco and Otro Cafe, will create seasonal menus for both lounges. With local tastes highlighted and some spice added to the lounge catering, guests can experience Phoenix eats even if they don’t have the chance to leave the airport during a layover.
Now that these lounges are open and accepting visitors, here are a few of the features and prime amenities offered at each:
The Centurion Lounge at PHX
